The weather was questionable leading up to the August PEACHES ride, but on the morning of the ride, most of the rain had cleared out and the temps were incredibly cool for an August ride.
Five teams made the drive to Taylorsville and enjoyed the low traffic and rolling hills.
At one point of the ride, we rode 15 miles without the captains having to put their feet down. Try that in Decatur!
We stopped for a rest about 17 miles in.
Afterwards, a visit to Udder Delights, Taylorsville’s hottest lunch spot.
The food was delightful, and the udders did not disappoint.
