100% humidity and temps in the high 80’s (at the finish) didn’t stand in the way of the August Peaches ride. Wendy Davison and Mark Pauly hosted the ride.

Six teams made the pilgrimage to Serenbe, including Angela Pfile and Douglas Job who came all the way from Athens, GA to ride with the club for the second month in a row.

Don’t we look adorable in our matching jerseys? It wasn’t planned, but it was recorded!

Rounding out the group for our ride are John and Mitzi Boland and Linda Wood & Eric Osgood.

The best part of this ride is the low traffic in the area. It’s like a more southern version of the South Fulton ride that we call silk sheets. There is lots of pretty scenery and quiet roads.

And of course the traditional group shot at the store stop.

After the ride lunch is at the Blue Eyed Daisy.

And then we get to embarrass Wendy with a surprise celebration of her Birthday.

Next month’s ride will be on Sunday, September 18th at a TBD location. As soon as I get the word from our hosts Jane and Dave Kevern, I’ll post it here!
Looks like a great group and fun ride in Serenbe. Lou & I hope to ride with the group sometime in the future.
