After riding 45 miles, there should always be a reward, but I digress!
After a week of dire weather forecasts, and going to sleep the night before convinced that we wouldn’t be able to ride, the rain moved through and the first PEACHES ride of the year happened!
5 teams enjoyed roads with very low traffic, no dogs and very friendly local residents.
Warm temps and blue skies combined with blooming trees made for a gorgeous ride in the country. At the very start the roads were a tiny bit moist, but we all stayed clean and dry.
Lunch at Bullritos gave us a chance to write on bags and choose our own ingredients to concoct the perfect repast.
We ate, we visited, we look forward to the April ride under the leadership of John and Mitzi Boland (who I suspect are sad they “bailed” this morning).
